This is a mini-documentary about finding ones’s roots.
My name is Jonas. I am adopted from Colombia. As an adoptee, there comes a time when all those questions surrounding the adoption need answering. I am lucky to have the most supportive parents you can imagine. This has meant a great deal because trying to find ones’ biological mother is a big milestone, and one that comes with a lot of consideration and reflection.
This was documented in 2022 as I ventured back to where it all began.

Apart from the travel video, countless hours of old photos and old videos were reviewed and added to the final documentary in order to tell the story properly. AI was an integral part of this process to enhance and restore the picture quality.
